Coaches and Board of Directors

Joe began swimming at age 6 for the Madison Area Aquatic Club (MAAC) in Madison, Indiana and later swam for Madison Consolidated High School. He began coaching MAAC in 1992 and also spent a season coaching at his high school alma mater while completing his student teaching. He has been coaching RAC since 1996. Joe teaches health and physical education at Highland Hills Middle School and is head coach of the Floyd Central High School boys' and girls' swim teams. He and his wife, Amy, have two daughters.
Hannah has been a part of RAC since she was 5 years old. Hannah swam for and graduated from New Albany High School before swimming for 4 years at Purdue University where she specialized in backstroke and IM events. Hannah is a member of the Age Group Committee and coaches elite camps for Indiana Swimming. Hannah coaches Senior and Senior Prep.
Elizabeth has been a part of RAC since she was 8 years old. She joined the RAC coaching staff in 2016. Before coming on as a coach she taught RAC swim lessons for several years and still serves RAC and Indiana Swimming as an official. Elizabeth works at Hazelwood Middle School and is pursuing her teaching license.


Emma has been a part of RAC for many years. She started swimming for RAC at 6 years old. Before coming on as a coach she taught swim lessons for seven years. Emma is currently pursuing her bachelors degree in communication at UofL and is a special education aide at Slate Run Elementary School in New Albany.
